Teens Winter Camp

Full & Part day camps for ages 11-14

 

Teens and tweens can have fun, keep busy and stay warm this Winter Break! Choose from our 3-hour Culinary Workshops (for ages 11-14) and our Full Day Cooking + Science Camps (for ages 5-12). Registration is by the day - join us for one day, all 8, or anything in between. 

 

 

3-HR CULINARY WORKSHOPS
Lakeview  |  for ages 11-14

In these hands-on culinary workshops, young teens and tweens dive into advanced kitchen techniques, like dough-making, pastries, pasta-rolling, and knife skills. All while cooking up a different 3-course meal from scratch each day.

WEEK 1:  Get Real!
December 26 - 29, 12:30-3:30pm

Learn how to transform classic diner or fast food fare into wholesome and delicious dishes. Because real food can be really good!

Week 2:  Comfort Food Classics
January 2 - 5, 12:30-3:30pm
Winter is the time for belly-warming, soul-soothing comfort foods. Learn how to make homemade versions of classic favorites.

COOKING + SCIENCE CAMP
Wicker Park  |  for ages 5-12

Join us as we partner with The Laboratory for unique full-day cooking and science camps. Kids spend half of their day at The Kids’ Table cooking and half of the day just a few doors down at The Laboratory doing hands-on STEAM projects based on popular themes.

 

WEEK 1:  December 26 - 29, 9:00am-3:00pm
Cartoon Fact or Fiction + Real Twists on Kid Classics

At The Laboratory, kids explore whether the adrenaline-filled scenes we see in our favorite cartoons could be real - from speeding car chases, epic sailing journeys, defying gravity, to the power to fly. At The Kids' Table, we'll transform kid classic dishes into real, wholesome (and delicious!) dishes.

Week 2:  January 2 - 5, 9:00am-3:00pm
Classic Movie Monsters + Comfort Food!

At The Laboratory, kids use creativity, imagination, and hands-on science to explore the secrets of Count Dracula, engineer their own Frankensteins, discover the chemistry of (friendly!) ghosts, and more. At The Kids' Table, we'll cook up our favorite belly-warming and soul-soothing recipes.
