No upbringing is complete without a basic knowledge of how to feed yourself! Our teen classes and programs incorporate basic and advanced cooking techniques (including knife skills), food and kitchen safety, recipe and ingredient origin, time-saving tricks and nutrition tips. But we don't just build skills and cook up delicious dishes, we create a fun and communal environment for teens to connect with food and each other.
We removed our weekly 1-hour Teens Can Cook series from our calendar at the end of 2017 and added a NEW Culinary Boot Camp Series for teens. We thought the structure of an 8-week series with weekly 2-hour classes would allow us more in depth skill-building opportunities. If you miss our weekly 1-hour classes, please let us know. With enough interest, we're happy to consider bringing them back!
CULINARY BOOT CAMP SERIES
Is your teen or tween ready to take it to the next level in the kitchen? Each of our NEW 8-week Culinary Boot Camp Series is themed to mirror a skill set taught in culinary school. Through small group cooking stations, all students get the opportunity to practice skills and build confidence under the guidance of our experienced instructors.

TEENS NITE OUT
In these 3-hour workshops, teens cook up delicious food, learn new kitchen skills, and enjoy hangout time with friends (old and new!). A great way to spend a Friday or Saturday evening.
All the urban foodie adventures of years past, plus a revamped culinary program! NEW this year, teens get to work in small groups at cooking stations for maximum skill-building and increased independence. Lakeview location only
